By accessing and using Convertorio ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Convertorio provides online image conversion services allowing users to convert images between various formats including JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and others. The Service is available through our website and API.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Pay Per Use Plan

  • $0.06 per AI analysis (OCR + Semantic analysis)

* Pay Per Use Pricing: The base rate of $0.001 applies to images up to 1,000 square pixels (e.g., 1000x1000px). For larger images, the rate scales proportionally based on the total pixel area. For example, a 2000x2000px image (4,000 square pixels) would cost $0.004. This ensures fair pricing based on processing requirements. The AI analysis fee of $0.06 remains fixed regardless of image size.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis and are non-refundable. Pay Per Use charges are billed at the end of each month based on actual usage. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload or convert files that violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
  • Use automated scripts or bots to abuse the Service
  • Upload illegal, obscene, or offensive content
  • Resell or redistribute our services without permission

6. File Processing and Storage

Files uploaded to Convertorio are processed for conversion purposes only. We implement the following practices:

  • Files are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of upload
  • We do not access, view, or share your files with third parties
  • You retain all ownership rights to your files
  • We are not responsible for any loss of files or conversion errors

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Convertorio and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Convertorio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Any interruption or cessation of the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or malware transmitted through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in any content

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms of Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Convertorio operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
